Woot! I finally finished it! Took me long enough but I finally got it done. This is a bit of gift art for Mialythila, it's my version of her charatcer Ines. Hope ya like it, Mel! I sketched it out in Flash and used Photoshop CS2 to color. Lol, and I know the armor/costume is pink, but I thought it fit this pic anyhoo. I simplified the scythes too, and the idea behind the feathery glove things sort of just popped into mind: that they were made from the feathers of light angels, since Nes is a dark one. Sort of like a grim trophy.
Wh00t! Thanks Cat!!! *HUGS* it looks AWESOME!!!!!! Thankyou thank you thank you!!!!
I am gogin to this now >.>

wow- this is really really really cool~ i love the idea of the winged gloves- and what they signify...deep! you have such beautiful and soft coloring...it's really amazing- since you said critique welcome i thought i'd throw it in to help ya!
crit- her left arm, where it connects to the body and comes down into the forearm looks a little dislocated and is a bit skinny- it could just be the placement of the chest and the angle you have her facing, her chest is completely undefined and it makes the picture in that area seem just a tad bit...off- and the only other thing that pops out at me is her hip the one with the dress over it and the two stripes- it is flat compared to the opposite hip and when aligned as you have it with the knee makes her upperthigh seem skinny and her lower thigh (near her knee) kind of chubby...but nothing really major
overall i think you did a fantastic job! and i'm going to be checking out your gallery now!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
